Good food healthy alternative..

We eat here at least twice a week. We where there Friday 3/15/1019. We waited over 40mins to find out they gave our order away. All we where offered was a refund or to wait for a remake. No discount or nothing. Later the cook came out and profusely apologize explaining that he wasn't a manager. but you could tell he was sincerely apologetic .he is the one that should be a manager because he understands customer service. I recommend promoting him immediately because if it was not for the cook we would not be eating here any longer. This was around 11.30 _12pm

We've been here many times and the food and smoothies are great. In the past I would have given Tropical Smoothie 5 stars. But I need to warn vegetarians and vegans to be careful. My husband ordered my flatbread with Beyond Meat, NOT chicken, as always. The clerk used real meat instead. I called, expecting an apology, only to be told my husband ordered wrong. The clerk was rude and wouldn't apologize or take responsibility. My husband, son, and I won't be back, although we will miss the food. Trust is essential.

Beware. I don’t often give bad reviews. However this location the owner is absolutely horrible. Today we ordered a smoothie and accidentally did so at the wrong location. When we called 7 min later to tell her our mistake apologies she demanded we come and get it and pay for it. She was the most rude owner of any business we have ever enteracted with. We will not use this location. It only takes a minute to be polite and keep customers. You have lost good ones. I will make sure I make it known how we have been treated in our community.

Excellent customer service, clean location, and the food and smoothies are awesome. I get the Baja chicken wrap with apple kale slaw super yummy

The smoothie was pretty good not amazing.The place was kinda dim not great lighting.Had a sandwhich, wasn't to impressed.Kids working the place so not enthusiastic service.Overall just an average place if ur just getting a quick smoothie then its not to bad.

Fast and friendly service and delicious drinks!

I called ahead my order by like 5min. I walked in my order ready and my smoothie was delicious. Very convenient and the customer service was great.

A typical tropical smoothie with fast and friendly service. I would have given 5 stars but they just went up on their morning deal smoothies by a dollar. My smoothies have always been correct.

I've never had a bad experience at this location. Never a long wait and the wraps are always delicious. Some of the bad reviews are left because some try to pay using someone elses credit card. I wrote CID with a Sharpie on the front of mine but no one every asks! I wish more people would actually make sure the card has the actual customers name it would stop alot of IDENTITY THEFT, Great Job!!! Others were mad because after the employees began prepping the order the customer changed their mind and understandably the worker wasnt pleased to toss food in the trash. SMH

Tropical smoothie is awesome. I love the smoothies and the food is even better. I recommend the Jamaican jerk chicken wrap. Lines move fast, employees are respectable and food is prepared in less than 5 min.

The morning staff is great! Fast and easy. Pb and J crunch and the breakfast classic.

First time ordering at this location, I always enjoy the food but the manager there is terrible. She won't swap any ingredient that you don't want on your sub or smoothie. Worst customer experience ever!!

Would not take my payment because husband and I have different last names. My order was over 20 dollars and the old woman refused my payment because of my age and name. A lot of military families in Jacksonville have one income lady. Lost my business for good!

I love the avocado smoothie & Pomegranate Plunge. The pesto chicken flatbread sandwich is really good. The service was good.

First, the smoothies my wife and I ordered were bland and tasteless. We got two totally different flavors, but I could not distinguish the difference from one or the other. Secondly, the older lady at the register made such a big issue about the name on my debit card. She asked the name on the order and I gave her my wife's name... then we she saw that it didn't match the name on the credit card she all but refused to take it. She didn't ask MY name, but who's name the order was under. She then went on about fraud. From rude service to bland smoothies you can be sure I'll never come back to this place again.

Terrible experience. Arrived at 7:50 with my son just after his soccer game. They brought out our food and about halfway through our meal told us they were closing and we had to get out. Awfu. Would give them 0 stars if it was an option.

Very very rude and bad service...we tried using our $2 reward today. My husband and I each had a reward and tried scanning both at purchase. Nobody informed us we could only use 1 per transaction even though they saw we had 2 barcodes on 2 phones. After realizing we couldn’t use them both on the same transaction, we asked them to take one smoothie off. A manager (old nasty woman) then came out and yelled at us! Will NEVER go back again!!

Alyssia and Julianne, I'm am sorry if you felt insulted when I didn't accept your fiancees or husbands debit card. This would be fraud on my part to allow you to use this. I have worked for banks and you would be surprised at how many people fight these charges. To avoid this happening to you, you should have you fiancee Kevin or Husband add you to his account and get a card in your name. I as a business owner have to follow rules on credit cards or we will not be able to take them. We have to be compliant with our credit card processing firm. We try to train all cashiers the right way. When I referenced age I'm sorry if it came out wrong, but what I meant was we get kids that are under 15 that their parents are in the car and send them in to pay. Anyone older we ask them to have their own card. Sorry Lorie

I don't leave a lot of bad reviews but this location severely needs new management!

Typically don't have a problem with the place, but a little common courtesy (or common sense) would improve the experience. Ordered online just a minute before coming into the store to wait, and as the store was empty, we had a seat. Instead of ever asking us if we'd ordered online or if the two smoothies they finished were ours, they just stuck them in the fridge and left them for the next 20 minutes without ever saying a word, even as I basically sat staring at the counter, waiting.

Clerk had no idea how much sugar came in a children's smoothie. I had to ask him 3 different times and in different ways. It was for my 3 year old he wont nap with lotsa sugar, what an idiot. They pride themselves on all natural ingredients and health stats such as calories but cant tell me how much sugar comes in one? Also he wouldnt show me the size of the cup just said there a little smaller than a normal cup he pointed at. Lazy and unacceptable. If i was the owner he'd be gone. Didnt catch his name, skinny tatted up young guy.

Most of the smoothies taste pretty bland, haven't tried the food yet.Planet Smoothie has better tasting smoothies and you get more for your money.

Smoothies are over iced and over priced, very bland tasting. I would recommend planet smoothie all day. Owners are a real piece of work, saw them arguing over parking spaces with another tenant right out front of their door. Not professional at all and bad for business. Making the area less than attractive.

I have never felt so insulted in my life. I always go here after a work out at night to get a protein smoothie. The food is great and the smoothies are awesome. I decided to go in the afternoon with my friend after we worked out. The old lady in charge was training a girl at the register, not a big deal. We put in our entire order after finally deciding what we wanted. When it came time to pay my friend handed over her FIANCEÈ'S DEBIT CARD AND WE WERE RUDLEY TOLD THAT WE CAN NOT ORDER AT ALL. In her exact word's "um are you Kevin? At your age I'm not accepting this." My friend is almost 30 years old. At exactly what age are we allowed to eat at your location ma'am? I'm never giving you my money again and I'm telling everyone how terrible the service is. This isn't the first time this woman has treated me this way and I'm extremely upset. She has a reputation of treating customers terribly. After writing this review planet smoothie would really hit the spot.

First of I LOVE tropical smoothie , just not at this location. .. first time trying it here vs Middleburg and oak leaf and the chicken here is so freaking hard and no sauce and different lettuce and also I saw a girl packaging the container and eating some out of the container then putting it away . Then she saw me and took out her phone and started texting in the back where they make the food. .. gross . But for sure last time going to this location

Tropical smoothie uses the freshest ingredients. Love this place.

Our whole company frequents this location multiple times a week! The smoothies are always delicious and the staff is super sweet and quick to get to our orders. Honestly a really great place for a quick bite.
